While I wait concerning The Web & the Willow, I am pounding away at Bound by Blood: The Sacrifice Part 2. I appreciate all the letters anticipating it's release and while that makes me want to hurry, I am determined to deliver nothing less than what I accomplished in the first book if not more.
The glossary is bigger lol---that should make many happy since I recieved a few emails digging the language of TERAH. In book 2, I hope to revamp the language once used by the ancients of the old ways with a twist--(see there is always a catch). Take that Webster! lol
Honestly, what is taking me so long ---I write a few chapters daily but then I sit on them. I will go on a writing frenzy all week long then walk away for a few days and really reflect on what I have done. If it becomes boring to me or what I would consider predictable, then the chapters I have written gets ripped to shreds, butchered, and so forth.
Not only will I attempt to test my characters but I am also out to test my readers---can they handle the new direction book two has taken---can they handle what is happening to their favorite characters?
Now we all love happy endings but I refuse to play by those rules lol. I am not promising a horrible ending or a happy one for that matter--(we still have book 3 to get through). I think the road of the characters will decide that for themselves.
However, I am allowing the story to be shocking---I like shocking. Our life is unpredictable and since the stakes are higher for my characters, then why not go the extreme? Maybe in the end we will realize being immortal is not all that it's cracked up to be. Maybe we will realize that while being created in God's image makes them more mortal than what we wanted to admit. And then again, maybe not lol.
Moral of this post--
You just never know what the hell I might do!
